Week of 1/21-1/25
Regular Math- No test this week! You do have a CR that is due Monday, 1/28. We are doing percent proportions, sales tax, tips, and discounts this week. Remember to bring your calculator to class.
Advanced Math - Test on Thursday,1/24 and Study Session on 1/23 from 3:15-4:15.
Chapter 4 Test is on Thursday. Here is a break down of test items:
(1-2) Write each ratio in two different ways.
(3-5) Write each ratio in simplest form.
(6-7) Write two equal ratios for the given ratio.
(8-11) Find the unit rate for each given situation.
(12-13) Find the better buy in each situation. Be sure to show unit price.
(14-15) State whether the ratio pairs form a proportion.
(16-17) Solve the proportions.
(18-24) Write a proportion for the following problems and then solve. (Use words and units of measurement to help you with setting up the proportions)
(25a/25b) Find the Scale Factor
(26-33) Answer the following questions about similar figures using the figure given.
(34) Similar to the problem about Jefferson's dining room from Friday's homework.
Bonus
Study your notes, look over your last quiz, and do online quizzes from your online math book from chapter 4.

Advanced Math Quiz, January 10th
