Math for the Week of February 11th-15th

Please remember that your weekly CR is a 30% grade. It is like taking an open book quiz. The weekly CR is only 15 points a week but by the end of the nine weeks that adds up to 100-135 points for the nine week period. You cannot use the calculator on items that we did not use the calculator for in class. Examples are Fractions/Decimals. You can use it for finding unit rate, proportions, and percent application problems (tax, tip, and discount). I say this every week, but someone of you are getting points deducted for not showing your work. If not sure about a problem, then please ask me. We have ETA everyday after lunch, this is a good time to ask for assistance.

We have had several out sick the past two weeks and I am sure we will have more out this coming week. Please check Google Classroom for daily class notes and homework. Don´t feel like you have to do it while feeling bad, this is for those that are feeling better and ready to get back started on their assignments.

Free Tutoring everyday from 7:30-8:05 in room A113. This is a great option for those that need to catch up on missed assignments, review for quizzes/test, and even CR help. A math teacher is available to help you every morning.

Regular Math has a quiz on measurement Monday, 2/11. The quiz review is posted on Google Classroom. We will start order of operations this week with exponents.

Advanced Math will not have any quizzes/test this week. We will continue working with proportions and percents. If you missed Monday´s quiz and Tuesday´s FDP quiz then please study so we can make those up this week on Tuesday or Wednesday. You can find all the review info. for both quizzes posted on Google Classroom. I think you will find it on post from Friday, 2/1.
