Week 10/1-10/5

Regular Math Classes: You will have your first IXL Contract that will be due 10/9. You will have class time on Monday/Wednesday after the quiz to work on it. You will also have Thursday ETA from 2:30-3:15. Use your time wisely! You will have your second number theory quiz on Wednesday. The quiz will cover equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions, changing improper fractions to mixed numbers, and mixed numbers to improper fractions. Remember we offer homework help every morning from 7:30-8:05 in room 113.

Advanced Math Classes:  Fraction Unit Test is Friday. You will get your adding/subtracting quizzes back on Tuesday. I will hold an after school study session on Thursday from 3:15-4:15.  Remember to use your time wisely during study hall after lunch each day and during Thursday's ETA from 2:30-3:15. Your first IXL Contract is due Wed. 10/3. It is a 30% grade, so try to get a smart score of 90% or better. Some of you did not take advantage of the decimal retake test opportunity several weeks back. If you want another opportunity to retake it, then please come see me by Wednesday of this week. If you made an A or B on the decimal test and want the opportunity to make corrections for extra credit, please come see me too. Remember we offer homework help every morning from 7:30-8:05 in room 113. The library and lunchroom is another quiet place to work on your weekly homework each morning.
